The Pledge you will sign
I enter this work knowing that the story sitting across from me is not mine to fix, finish, or rush. I leave behind my judgment of how long healing should take, my assumptions about what the story means, and my need to see myself in someone else's truth. I commit to carrying the space, steady and open, for whatever rises when the writing begins. The tears. The silence. The anger. The relief. All of it is welcome here. I believe that every story matters. Not just the polished ones. Not just the resolved ones. The ones still bleeding. The ones with no ending yet. The ones that have never been spoken out loud until now. When I am uncertain, when the session is hard, when I don't know what to say, I return to my why. I am ready. I am trusted. I am a certified steward of the SoulWord Story Method™. And I will hold every story that comes to me like it is the most important story I have ever heard, because in that moment, it is.
Every certified facilitator signs this pledge upon completion of the program. It is not a formality. It is a commitment.
